The (art)works portrayed in this series are part of a travel diary that I have begun keeping during my career as a conservator-restorer of mural paintings. It is where I record moments, environments and situations in order to awaken the observer to different physical and emotional realities.
Often times we get in touch with feelings that make us walk more or less winding paths in search of freedom, fulfillment and comfort. In my work I try to assume and explore a propitious/very likely error that is so inherent to traditional techniques, such us drawing with Indian ink, where I need to face the impossibility of erasing or altering any trace made.
